Sunflower husk pellets
Fuel pellets from sunflower husk are often compared to wood pellets. Pellets from sunflower husk are actually a secondary product - the waste from sunflower seeds in the process of production of sunflower oil. They do not lose to wood pellets in terms of caloric power, have low level of humidity and are not heavy, while the cost of product is significantly lower.
Quality pellet has a grey glossy color. It is well dried, which you can tell from its weight. There are no defects, scratches etc. Such pellets are produced by pressing the sunflower seed shells.
The benefits of granular waste:
- Ease of storage. Such granules are not prone to decay. If you store them in a dry and warm place they will not lose their initial properties for a long time. Pay attention it is not advised to store pellets in a humid place as they may lose their properties;
- Security. Fuel pellets are not explosive and they cannot burn by themselves;
- Ecology. The granules are made of sunflower seeds that are ecologically clean raw material. They do not contain poison and toxic substances.
- Affordable price. Pellets made of sunflower have lower cost than those made of wood.
